Love Island stars Alex Bowen and Olivia Buckland are one of the series' success stories, happily married since 2018.
The sweethearts first met on Love Island the previous year, falling head-over-heels in the infamous villa.
Unfortunately, even though Alex, 28, and Olivia, 26, met their match on the show, it doesn't mean everyone else is guaranteed the same luck.
Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Online, the lovebirds revealed the real reason why so many couples split up as the series ends.
Alex admitted that couples often don't get to spend enough time together in the villa, as the format of the show has changed over the years.

He said: "You know with Casa Amor, and there are so many people coming and going, you don't get enough time just to be with each other.
"I just feel like that spoils it a little bit. A lot of couples don't get to spend a lot of time with each other and then they get swayed easily."
Leaving the series, if the couple hasn't grown close enough on the show, their relationship is under even more pressure as they face new distances and career changes.

Alex explained: "The couples that do come off of the show, when they come into the real world, people live in different parts of the country and people are not willing to move for each other. Their career paths and stuff like that can be different."
Olivia said it can be impossible to predict which couples will last the test of time once filming wraps, as some naturally "just don't work" in real life.
She reasoned: "I can't look at people and say, especially when you don't know them personally. It's a hard thing to guess.

"Just because they've been on a reality show doesn't mean they have to be forever. They're just like everyone else, some couples just don't work when you come out."
Fingers crossed this year's Islanders have as much luck in the love department as Alex and Olivia!
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
