MARTINE McCutcheon unintentionally sparked debate amongst her fans as she shared a bikini snap.
Worried followers feared the EastEnders actress, 45, had lost too much weight – not realising the image was actually of someone else.
The picture showed a woman in a white swimsuit walking in the sand with her back to the camera so it was unclear if the person in question was Martine.
Those who did think it was her expressed concern over her size in a flurry of messages.
One person wrote: “So sad, think a out what your posting please, these images don't help young girls.”
Another commented: “I really hope that's not a pic of you 😕 you need some meat on your bones , I know I'm going to get some stick but seriously 😮”

Others were quick to defend her, with someone hitting back: “Wow! Some of these comments are downright bloody awful! For gods sake stop!
“Who the hell has the right to criticise what a woman looks like shame on all of you!”
Horrified by the confusion, Love Island star Martine took to Instagram to clarify it wasn’t her, telling her followers: In case of any VERY flattering (but slightly bonkers) assumptions, this is not me! Its some super model with legs as longer that I ever thought possible! 👊🏼 It IS however, my holiday mood right now! 🤣👙🤷🏻♀️😆☀️”
Over the past decade, Martine has suffered a number of hidden illnesses that have been tough to deal with, including chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia and Lyme disease.

But many have noticed how great Martine looks at the moment, and she recently explained how she ways to manages her health.
"I think it takes a long time to work out what your own recipe is," she told Love Sunday magazine.
"It’s taken me such a long time to look through all the stuff that’s out there and just do what works for me.
"So it’s not as simple as just going on a crazy diet. I just feel like it’s really important to encourage women to just be the best version of themselves."
Martine says she doesn't follow a particular diet to stay healthy, but has a "simple trick" to stay in shape as she revealed: "The 80/20 rule is what works for me."
"For 80 per cent of my week, I will have mainly just healthy proteins, vegetables and fruit, organic and veggie juices and Flora ProActiv spread.
"And then I’ll have treats 20 per cent of the time – I’ll have that slice of pizza, chocolate or a G&T to celebrate a friend’s birthday."
