Money Heist season three sees the cast of the massively popular Spanish drama reunite again. Known as La Casa de Papel, the Netflix show is an action-packed thriller, which became its most watched non-English series ever. Here’s everything you need to know about Money Heist season three, including the cast, release date, trailer and plot. 

When is Money Heist season 3 out on Netflix?

The third series of Money Heist will be out on Netflix on July 19. 

Viewers will be able to stream the new series when all eight episodes drop on the same day. 

UK viewers will be able to see the show at 8am BST when the streaming service is expected to release the show. 

Who is in the cast of Money Heist season 3? 

Most of the main characters of the previous seasons will be returning for series three of the show. 

This includes Álvaro Morte as El Professor, the criminal mastermind behind the initial heist. 

Fans can also expect to see Úrsula Corberó back as Tokyo and Miguel Herrán back as Rio. 

Raquel Murillo (Itzaur Ituno), Nairobi (Alba Flores) and Denver (Jaime Lorente) are all also expected to be back in the Netflix Original show. 

Netflix has also revealed that Berlin (played by Pedro Alonso) will be back even though viewers thought he had died in the second series. 

What is the plot of Money Heist season 3? 

The initial premise of the show saw a group of masked thieves aim to steal €2.4 billion from the royal mint in Spain. 

We last saw them make their escape and the team go their separate ways. 

Money Heist part three looks to show the team reunite once again in order to save one of their own. 

The tag line for this season is: “This time it’s not about the money. This time it’s about family.” 

Is there a trailer for Money Heist season 3? 

Yes, Netflix has just released a new trailer for Money Heist series three, which you can watch at the top of this article. 

The trailer shows the group make it into international waters and celebrate their escape. 

We hear El Professor say in the voiceover: “We managed to escape, but now comes the most difficult part. Surviving.” 

We then get a glimpse at the tropical island that some of the characters find themselves on. 

In the new series it looks like they the will not be alone for long as Tokyo escapes while they Rio is not so lucky. 

The team must then reunite in order to rescue Rio. 

The show looks just to be as explosive as ever if the new trailer is anything to go by.
