Paddy McGuinness mocked Patsy Palmer on Friday's Good Morning Britain, days after she sensationally slammed her laptop shut and refused to take part in a live interview on the show.

The 47 year old appeared on the hit ITV breakfast show on Friday morning to promote Comic Relief, but couldn't help but make a dig at the former EastEnders star.

Patsy, 48, was due to give an interview to hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on Wednesday's show but refused to take part when she saw the strapline for the interview labelled her: "Addict to wellness guru".

Comedian and presenter Paddy couldn't resist taking a swipe at Patsy by making a comment on his own tag.

Speaking to presenters Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins, Paddy said: "Well done on the 'Comedy genius Paddy McGuinness', there's no walking off here with that."

Kate laughed: "No! You'll come back every day of the week for that one, won't you?"

Paddy agreed: "I'll be here on Monday, this is what you want," with the presenters giggling at his comment.

Charlotte warned him: "You stay there and don't go anywhere," before they carried on with the rest of their interview.

Patsy threw the show into chaos on Wednesday morning during her brief appearance on the show.

She switched off her video call during an interview on the programme after noticing the description on the screen called her an "addict".

Patsy joined hosts Susanna and Ben to speak about her new healthy lifestyle in Malibu, California.

Ben, 46, and 50 year old Susanna started the chat by asking if she had moved across the pond to avoid people shouting "Ricky" in the street after her famous Bianca Jackson line on EastEnders.

Patsy laughed as she replied: "Not really, not just for that reason. Maybe one of them."

Before long, however, the former soap star noticed the description on the bottom of the screen read: "Patsy Palmer: Addict to Wellness Guru".

Clearly unimpressed, she said: "You know what actually, I don’t even want to do this interview because I don’t even want to look at what it says at the bottom of that screen."

Referring to Piers Morgan's now-infamous storm off set last week after ranting about Meghan Markle, Patsy continued: "So I’m just going to switch off, do a real Piers Morgan and just say, it’s not okay to have 'addict to wellness guru' at the bottom of the screen."

Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
