Love Island star Shaughna Phillips is set to show off the results of her recent liposuction, as she strips off for ITV’s upcoming series The Real Full Monty on Ice.

The 26-year-old reality star will be taking off her clothes in the name of charity in a bid to raise awareness of cancer and the importance of checking ourselves for early symptoms.

Once again, Diversity star Ashley Banjo has teamed up with Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan to bring Shaughna and the rest of the famous faces together to perform a spectacular dance routine.

And this time they’ve upped the ante even further by revealing the stars will be doing the Full Monty on ice!

This comes after Shaughna, who has also appeared on popular E4 series Celebs Go Virtual Dating, revealed she had recently undergone liposuction on her lower legs after being diagnosed with a medical condition called lipoedema.

The chronic condition is a build up of fat cells in the leg, thigh, and buttocks area, which can also affect some people’s arms.

Speaking during a Q&A about her In The Style clothing collection, Shaughna said, “I have had liposuction on my lower legs, so my calves, because I was recently diagnosed with lipoedema, once I'd come out of the villa.”

“So after some research and going to some doctors, I was finally diagnosed and then had my surgery on Wednesday," Shaughna added.

"And I'm recovering, I'm doing really well. I've got make-up on today, I've brushed my hair today and, yeah, I'm just really looking forward to… the process of it."

Shaughna isn’t the only famous face to be stepping up to the challenge of the ITV series.

Loose Women’s Coleen Nolan has recruited lots of other familiar faces from the world of TV and radio to make up a fierce female team, including actress Linda Lusardi, and ex Corrie and Emmerdale actress Hayley Tamaddon.

Meanwhile, Ashley Banjo has roped in fellow Love Islander Chris Hughes, TV star Jake Quickenden and actor Jamie Lomas to represent the boys.

And Ashley and Coleen can’t wait for viewers to see what they have in store in the two group performances.

Announcing the two line-ups, Coleen said, “I keep saying ‘never again’ to getting my kit off but the response we get from the millions of women who feel empowered to check themselves after watching the show is incredible, so here we go again!”

“This year is more personal than ever for me as two of my amazing sisters are battling cancer once more. I'm inspired by them and everyone I meet who has been touched by this dreadful disease, so I’m absolutely thrilled to be back leading a new awesome group of women, ready to bare all with me.”

“But as this year it’s on ice, let’s just hope we don't get frostbite on our unmentionables!”
