Grace Tucker (Kate Spencer) has told Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) she can have baby Glory in Coronation Street – for £20k.
This week, viewers realised just how little Grace cares for her baby as she happily left her home alone and enjoyed an afternoon at the Christmas Market with Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove).
When Bernie spotted Grace looking at the baby camera footage, she demanded the new mum returned home to look after her daughter.
Grace reluctantly followed Bernie’s orders but asked her to keep things a secret from Aggie.
Tonight, Aggie discovered what Grace had done, and was left horrified when Grace told Aggie she doesn’t actually want baby Glory anymore.
Keen to report the neglectful mother to social services, Aggie was thrown when Grace said the Bailey family could have Glory – if they pay her £20,000.
As Ed (Trevor Michael Georges) caught up on what was happening, he talked Aggie into going through with the deal, saying they’ll draw up a contract and could probably sell the house Grace has been living in.
With Kate’s final scenes as Grace nearing ever closer, what will the outcome of this deal be?
Could Grace face prison for leaving Glory home alone?
Or will she head off for a new life without her daughter?
Furthermore, how will Michael (Ryan Russell) cope if he discovers what Grace has done?
