The Chase viewers stormed to social media to remark on the strange group of contestants' names, with many claiming it must be a 'joke'.
The ITV game show – hosted by Bradley Walsh – took place on Monday evening with a group of four budding contestants with something in common.
The names of the players on the programme all had a nature theme, with them being called Tree, Autumn, Bear and Robin.
Fans went wild after the names were revealed, with many taking to Twitter to comment on the revelation.
One said: "The Chase are surely on the wind up with those contestants names."
A second added: "Mad collection of names on the chase there. Autumn, Tree, Robin & Bear"
While a third penned: "Whoever picked these contestants on #thechase definitely lined these names up on purpose Rolling on the floor laughing."
And a fourth wrote: "Robin, Bear, Tree and Autumn….are we having a laugh? What's this about? These names can't be real names for humans, and if so, having them on can't be a coincidence #thechase #itvthechase"
And a fifth stated: "Just tuned into #thechase. Wtf are those names???"
Another then replied and tweeted: "Was thinking the same but they just explained it, it’s for climate week or something"
After the initial puns about the names, host Bradley explained why bosses had chosen the lineup – which was to celebrate Climate Week.
The team today consisted of Autumn, 35 a data examination manager from Burnley and Tree, 48 a travel consultant from Hove.
Along with Bear, 71, a retired maths teacher from East London and Robin, 27, a policy manager from Richmond.
Joker Bradley later teased Autumn, who is pregnant and due early next year – teasing that she should call her baby 'Spring'.
Fans also thought they spotted a lookalike on the show – a Harry Potter one at that, in regards to Robin.
One said: "he looks like Harry Potter, full stop #TheChase"
While a second added: "Harry Potter’s stunt double #thechase"
Viewers were even more shocked when he added in that he actually starred in one of the films.
Bradley poked fun at his glasses – saying they were like Harry Potter's, when Robin interrupted him to reveal his acting past.
Robin said: "I am a big Potter fan – when I was younger I used to do a bit of acting and I was actually in one of the films. It was number six, The Goblet of Fire, you can see me in the background at a Quidditch match."
