Kathy said she has noticed a difference in the industry since financial uncertainty has become more common, even in wealthy people.
She said: "In high end pawn broking, we do see some clients with considerable wealth in many respects, loaning on valuable brand watches when they have cash flow problems, this is fairly common at the moment and something that in my area of the UK I see very often."
