Builder who won £8m on lottery wants wife after getting bored of sports cars

A bloke who won a whopping £8million lottery prize has decided to close his wallet and open his heart instead.

Kursat Yildirim, a builder from Dortmund in Germany, bagged the prize on September 24.

And since then, he has shelled out £392,000 on a Ferrari 448 Pista and another £218,000 on a stunning Porsche Turbo S Cabriolet.

And to add to that, he also bought a swanky luxury watch – and his own favourite local pub.

But the 41-year-old is already sick of his spending splurge, and the son of Turkish immigrants has now decided that he wants a wife to share it all with.

Speaking to German newspaper Bild, he candidly said: “Please point out in your story that I'm still single – she may be blonde or brunette, I don't care.

“I just want to fall in love, and I'm looking for a woman who loves to travel and is ready to start a family with me. I need a woman I can trust no matter what happens.”

The tabloid has already set up an e-mail address for women to get in touch.

But Kursat is convinced that his sudden wealth will not have any negative impact.

He said: “I can look after myself very well, I've taken precautions. The money is in safe hands.”

Kursat – who moved to Germany at the age of 12 – revealed he was continuing to play the lottery despite his jackpot win.

He said: “I just can't change it, I'm used to it. I've played the lottery for 15 years.

“The great thing about it is that you can make so many people happy. I've immediately transferred money to my parents and my brothers.

“I'd love to go to Africa to dig wells and give presents to the children there.

“People have written me off – they said I'm done, but I've prayed to God for a chance to do some good things. That's what I'm going to do now."

According to local reports, Kursat has a history of alcohol addiction, physical violence offences and debts.

He bought the cars to “show off”, and claimed: "I've always been the misfit of my family. Suddenly everyone's your friend – people that I haven't heard from for ages are calling up to ask for money straight away."

Asked whether he already regrets revealing his big win by posting it all on social media, Kursat explained: “Everyone should know! 90% are jealous and think I don't deserve this, but I don't care.

“I'll never forget where I'm coming from – I'm working class, I'll never become an arrogant person.”
