Driver of sedan rams police vehicles then crashes into Ford truck

The driver of sedan “rammed” several police patrol vehicles in Northglenn on Wednesday afternoon before the driver fled and crashed into a pickup truck, police said.

Two people, both age 27, in the suspect vehicle, a Chevrolet Cruze, were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries, according to a police department news release. The truck driver was not injured.

The incident started at about 3:30 p.m. when officers responded to the 11200 block of Huron Street on a business alarm, the release said. When officers arrived, the driver of the Cruze rammed several police vehicles and fled north on Huron Street. Officers pursued the driver to west 136th Avenue where the suspect driver turned east, into a westbound lane, and crashed into a Ford F350.
