A LUCKY EuroMillions winner has come forward to claim their £111million jackpot.

Players were urged to check their tickets after the eye-watering amount was scooped by a Brit in Friday's draw.

No details have been given on where the UK winner bought the ticket from or where they are based.

Lottery winners can sign an agreement for full publicity if they want to release information about them.

Camelot’s Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at The National Lottery, said: “What sensational news on a sunny summer weekend for one lucky EuroMillions player.

"They have instantly become the ninth biggest winner in UK National Lottery history and have a fortune which can make their dreams come true.

"We will now look to support the ticket-holder through the process and help them to start to enjoy their life-changing win.”

The huge jackpot means the winner is now richer than One Direction's Harry Styles, who is worth a reported £75million, and Dua Lipa – worth £20million – combined.

They are the fourth Brit to scoop the EuroMillions top prize this year alone.

In April, one ticket-holder won an incredible £122.5million – making them the fifth biggest Lottery winner ever.

The biggest UK win was in October 2019 when an anonymous Brit landed a £170million jackpot.
