Meghan Markle ‘not worried’ about sister Sam and ‘writing her own tell-all book’

Meghan Markle is "not worried" about half-sister Samantha’s tell-all book about her and is writing her own, a reported friend of the Duchess has said.

Samantha Markle’s tell-all autobiography about her Royal sister is expected to be critical of Prince Harry’s wife and in defence of her dad Thomas Markle after he fell out with the Duchess.

In snippets from the book, Samantha has already revealed pictures of Thomas snapped by the paparazzi "made her choke" before the Duke and Duchess' Windsor wedding.

But Meghan is reportedly "not worried" about her sister's claims, and is planning a book of her own to set the record straight, a friend of the actress allegedly told Vanity Fair.

The friend told the publication any suggestion Meghan may be worried is "nonsense" as the pair haven’t seen each other for years.

According to sources, Meghan is also alleged to have "some very serious book deals" on the table herself.

Speaking to Vanity Fair the friend added: "Meghan has not seen Samantha for years so the idea that she is worried about the book is nonsense.

"Meghan barely knows Samantha, they haven’t seen each other for nearly 20 years."

They added: "Meghan has some very serious book deals on the table.

"They are all up for consideration."

Samantha's book, called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister: Part 1, was released in the United States through American bookselling giant Barnes and Noble.

The book has so far defended Samantha’s decision to enlist a photographer to take pictures of her father weeks before Meghan wed Prince Harry.

She said she was tired of Thomas not being put in an "honest light" and so got in contact with a photographer to her father look more like himself.

According to Samantha, the goal was "not money," but said the images came out staged and indiscreet like she had asked.

The pictures nearly "made her choke," she claims, and added that Samantha felt as though she and Thomas had been "baited".

Daily Star Online has approached Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's representatives, Jeff Rayner and the Coleman-Rayner photography agency.
