Meghan Markle’s acting return could be ‘tricky’ amid ‘hidden agendas’

Meghan Markle may find a return to acting in 2021 "tricky" and may opt to "stay away from the screen" for fear of being case in roles for the wrong reasons, a Royal expert has claimed.

Before Meghan met Prince Harry, the American had established herself as an actor, with roles in hit TV show Suits, as well as movies Horrible Bosses and Remember Me.

She was forced to give all that up when the pair wed on the 19 May 2018 in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle during a star-studded ceremony.

To the world, the pair appeared to be happy until they announced their bombshell decision to step back from their roles as senior members of the Royal Family.

Ever since, rumours have swirled about Meghan's return to the big screen.

Brittani Barger, Deputy Editor of Royal Central, a US website focused on news about the monarchy, claims the Suits star’s anticipated return could be "tricky."

She claims Meghan "loved her job as an actress" but may delay going back to the big screen because she can’t be sure if “people were casting her on her skills or her title.”

Speaking to the Daily Star, Ms Barger said: "Meghan loved her job as an actress.

"I think it would be tricky to enter back into film on-screen because she wouldn't be sure if people were casting her on her skills or her title."

She believes then that Meghan may choose to "stay away" from the screen, but also thinks we could see her doing "big things behind the scenes in production."

Ms Barger said: "I think she will stay away from the screen for a bit more.

"I can see her doing things behind the scenes in production right now."
