A mother has issued a desperate appeal for information after her 19-year-old daughter vanished without a trace three days ago.
Melanie Harvey, 19, went missing at around 1pm on Thursday, June 30, in Preston, Lancashire, but it is thought she travelled to Blackpool.
Since then, she has not been seen and her family are growing increasingly worried about her wellbeing.
Her mother Katie Harvey posted online: ‘I’m going out of my mind! She’s not with anybody she knows, [she] has no money and no phone!
Melanie Harvey, 19, from Preston, Lancashire, has not been seen since Thursday when she is thought to have visited Blackpool
‘Melanie knows that I’d pay for a taxi for her to come back to Preston and if she was with someone she would have contacted me or Jessica on their phone.
‘She has only one other friend in Blackpool and she isn’t with her either.
‘She has no reason to not come home! Imagine if this was your daughter, I can’t begin to explain the hell I’m in right now.’
Miss Harvey is described as 5ft 3ins tall, is petite with jet black hair and blue eyes.
She was last seen wearing black leggings, a white top and white and orange Nike Air Force trainers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Lancashire Police online or by phoning 101, quoting reference 1164 of July 1.
