Prince Harry is like "a rabbit in headlights" and has realised how "frozen out he is" from the rest of the Royal Family, royal insiders have claimed.
The Duke of Sussex saw his family for the first time in over a year at the funeral of his grandfather, Prince Philip.
Weeks before, he and wife Meghan Markle sat down with U.S. chat show host Oprah Winfrey to talk about life within the Firm.
Meghan and Harry both made a series of bombshell claims against the Royals, including accusing a senior member of racism, and claiming Prince Charles cut their security off while they were in Canada.
Prince Harry is said to have had a frosty reception when he touched down in the UK for the funeral, with royal insiders claiming the Duke realised “how frozen out he is.”
Senior Royals Princess Anne and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, Prince Edward’s wife, reportedly paid no mind to Harry at all, and did not speak to him, it is claimed.
Charlie Rae, a former royal editor at The Sun, told talkRADIO that Harry looked like "a rabbit caught in headlights" and was "really shocked" by the reception.
She said: "We read that Harry was shocked by the frosty reception he got from some members of the Royal Family.
"Some literally turned their back on him. He was stunned by this – I'm not sure why that was a surprise to him."

Ms Rae said there is a "suggestion" that Harry realised he had "turned his back on his former life" and was reminded of that old life when he returned without Meghan.
She said: "It must be occurring to him how frozen out he is, how he has turned his back on his former life.
"There is suggestion that when he came back a few weeks ago, he was reminded of his old life."
