Singletons in the UK have been left frustrated as Tinder suddenly stopped working.
Hundreds of users have reported problems with the online dating app.
Some vented on social media that they were just about to clinch a date for the weekend when they suddenly couldn't send messages.
People in France and in Canada also reported that the app had stopped working for them.
Users tweeted: "Tinder isn’t allowing me to send messages ):"
@hackbored added: "Tinder had to really do down the second I’m making plans with someone."
Alan Reed joked: "Tinder is apparently down. Don't ask how I know."
eli (baby railbreaker) claimed: "Bro tinder really had to go down as I’m making plans with a hot girl."
Tinder's status on the website downdetector.co.uk shows reports of an outage started just after 3pm.
Tinder has been contacted for comment.
The pandemic has been tough on lonely singletons as many were forced to break the law to meet up for walks in parks.
