Wanted man ruthlessly mocked for tattoos that make him very identifiable

Internet jokers have been quick to "help" police after they begged for information to find a man with distinctive facial tattoos.

Cops in New Zealand posted a mugshot of Karsin Peneha, 23, showing his unusual body art.

The 23-year-old’s face is almost completely covered with ink, with lines scrawled on his cheeks and nose.

He has lettering etched into his forehead and chin, which are clearly visible in the snap shared by officers.

Online trolls saw an opportunity too good to pass up when police asked for information.

In a statement the force wrote: “Police are seeking the public's help to locate Karsin Peneha.

“Peneha, aged 23 is thought to be in the Gisborne area.

“He's around 175cm tall and of skinny build.

“The attached photo was taken in March this year.”

Jokers were quick to latch onto the mugshot and offer their expertise in locating the wanted man.
